ABOUT
Welcome to Heart to Heart! My name is Emily and I am an SLP and autistic person. My mission as a clinician is to provide neurodiversity-affirming services to families that are based on relationship and connection as the foundation for progress. When we focus on connection first, true communication progress can blossom.
I completed my Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders in Spring 2021 and have spent my early career working in early intervention. Shortly after graduating, I received my autism diagnosis, which along with my lived experiences has shaped my perspective as a therapist. My areas of specialty include early language development, AAC, and Gestalt Language Processing.
When you work with me, you can expect that your relationship with your child will be at the forefront of our therapy. I prioritize the authenticity of people, regardless of their neurotype. We will embrace the unique strengths of your child, and support them to learn new skills in areas that are meaningful for them. I am excited for the opportunity to support you and your family!
